I want to give a tremendous thank you to all of the readers and JAFF authors who made last week’s event such a tremendous success. When I determined that I would attempt to celebrate our veterans, along with JAFF books centered around Colonel Fitzwilliam, I never anticipated such an overwhelming amount of gratitude and generosity to come our way.
Just Jane 1813 readers were exceptional; the stories they shared, combined with the responses and suggestions they offered, gave me such enthusiasm and regard, not only for them, but for the JAFF community as a whole. It was inspiring and I hope that inspiration was felt by our readers too!
The authors who gave up their time and offered their books last week to our readers were such a pleasure to collaborate with on this event. Their interviews were such a special treat! I never intended for them to answer every single question that I sent their way… Yet, time and time again, they sent back ALL of my questions, returned with such insightful answers. For me, I was like a kid in a candy shop, grinning from ear to ear, as I read each interview. I also want to say that it was great to see how diligent they were about responding to our readers’ comments. Please make sure that you check out all of our interviews, at your leisure, because they are, like the JAFF these authors write, unique and perceptive in their own specific ways.
Please know there is still time to enter most of our giveaways, so please take the time to enter a chance to win one (or all) of these great ebooks.
As I close, please know that it is not lost upon me, what a tragic reminder the events in France this past weekend are, in regards to how important our young men and women are, who serve in our United States Armed Forces. Their courage and their dedication are so remarkable. They bring hope and valor to the world every day and I thank them for their contributions, as they defend our country against known and unknown enemies in this ever-changing world of war.
