Last year I had the pleasure to be introduced to two talented new JAFF writers; Beau North and Brooke West. Beau’s highly anticipated debut novel, “Longbourn’s Songbird”, quickly became one of the most memorable and emotive alternate-era JAFF stories of my acquaintance. “Holiday Mix Tape: A Modern-Day Persuasion” short story, co-written by Beau North and Brooke West, from the Meryton Press “Then Comes Winter” anthology, was one of my favorite short stories in this collection. Both books earned a 2015 Just Jane 2015 Reviewer’s Favorites award; one for best alternate-era JAFF story and the other for best JAFF short story collection.
Fast-forward to nearly a year later, and these two inventive JAFF writers have teamed up again with editor, Christina Boyd, and are about to release a whole new kind of JAFF story; one that includes a paranormal twist that’s entirely unique to JAFF, and yet, in essentials, is a Regency era story that includes our favorite characters facing one unpredictable event after the other. It’s quite a page-turner!
I have the good fortune of sharing today with my Just Jane 1813 readers that Beau North’s and Brooke West’s new book, “The Many Lives of Fitzwilliam Darcy,” will be released on October 4, 2016. I also have the pleasure of sharing today that we are collaborating with twelve other Austenesque bloggers to bring readers a blog tour that will include several book reviews from your favorite bloggers, an exclusive interview with Beau and Brooke, original artwork, guest posts, excerpts, and generous giveaways, all beginning on October 8, 2016.
Launching a book titled “The Many Lives of Fitzwilliam Darcy” conjures up an array of various images for readers. Who is this Mr. Darcy and why does he live so many lives? Beau and Brooke have collaborated with the fabulous Josh Hollis to create a one-of-a-kind book cover for this JAFF story with a paranormal twist and what better time to unveil it to the JAFF community than on the day of our next full moon, which occurs on next Friday, September 16, 2016?
Now that you’ve seen a peek of this cover, can you do us a favor and leave us a comment on this post and maybe even share it on your social media? Please tell us what you think of this little sneak peek. Are you curious to see what Beau and Brooke have in store for the JAFF community with their upcoming release? Less than one week until the cover reveal and before you know it, the blog tour will be launched. I really can’t wait to share this tour with readers!
